Vegetarian Okra Stew



  • 1Kg Okra
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1Tbsp minced garlic
  • 200g tomato puree
  • 200g chopped tomatoes
  • 1tsp Leena Garam Masala
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4Tbsp olive oil



  • Heat oil in a pan on medium heat
  • Add onion and garlic
  • Saute for 5 minutes or until translucent
  • Add salt, pepper, garam masala, and stir for 2 minutes
  • Add tomatoes and tomato puree
  • Cook for 5 to 6 minutes
  • Add okra and boil for 2 minutes
  • Cook on low heat for about 20 minutes or until okra is tender.
  • Serve hot
