CHILLI CON CARNE
Chilli mince with kidney beans
Ingredients
- 500g beef, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2Tbsp oil
- 2 tsp plain flour
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 ½ tsp Leena Taco Spice
- 400g can of tomatoes
- 300ml beef stock
- 400g can of kidney beans
- Salt to taste.
Method
- Heat oil in the frying pan on medium heat
- Cook onion and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes until soft
- Add minced beef and cook until brown
- Add flour , salt, chilli powder, Leena taco spice, tomatoes and beef stock
- Stir the mixture and bring to boil
- Reduce heat and stir for 30 minutes
- Drain kidney beans and add to the mince
- Cook further for 10 to 15 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve
