TOGARASHI SHICHIMI JAPANESE 7 SEVEN SPICE BLEND - LEENA SPICES PRODUCT
A traditional 7 spice blend used in Japanese cuisine. With unique ingredients such as seaweed, this spice mix will add a tantalizing flavour to your food.
This delightful seasoning goes by many names – Togarashi, Shichimi, or even Japanese Seven Spice.
Regardless of what you call it, the blend is guaranteed to satisfy the tastebuds and complement your cooking with a strong kick.
This seasoning is often compared to black and white pepper, without the overpowering taste and heat.
Sichuan pepper delights with its citrus and woody sweetness, while the poppy seeds provide a delightful crunchy texture. Star anise excites with its subtle sweetness. Seaweed reaches the back of the palate with a wonderful deepness and cinnamon and ginger add a powerful punch.
Originally as a medicine, this Togarashi blend has been used for centuries in Japan and quickly became a popular seasoning for food. The Japanese can’t get enough and it is still the number one table condiment used in the country – and for good reason.
Its flavour is sensational.
Our Shichimi mix is made with no preservatives and additives, just pure traditional ingredients.

This is my first time trying this spice blend and I super love it. Thank you
I tried this out for the first time on/with Venison, just rubbed all over and then hot smoked in my BBq, came out perfect, you could taste the spice mix within the other flavors of the meat and smoke, will be finding more things to try in/with YUM!!!!!!!
Love the taste. Definetely will buy more.
Love the flavour addition to my morning breakfast egg. This togarashi is a slightly different flavour to the nanami togarashi which I had previously. The nanami togarashi has the added flavour of chili peppers. Recommend the togarashi for a flavour addition to your dishes.
