LEMONS LIME DRIED WHOLE
These are used mostly in Iranian and Middle Eastern dishes.
Whole limes are dried when the are in fully ripe condition. They taste slightly different to fresh limes. While still keeping the citrus taste, dried lemons add an earthly or smoky flavour to the food. They also add a tangy or zesty flavour.
Best used in stews and soups but can be added to any cooking. It can be crushed to powder or used in broken pieces. Just let it simmer while cooking.
Powdered form can also be used in roast or rice.
Use it in vegetable or non vegetable dishes.
